Work at Home - With Your Own Money-Making Website. Points to consider.

By CecilH

Out of all the many systems available to Work at Home. The owning and developing of a good quality "how to website" providing the reader with great information and product value, must be very high on the list for anyone wanting to enter the world of internet marketing.

As you may know. There are many options available to you for having your own website. In this article we will take a closer look at some of the advantages and disadvantages of the various options.

Create and build your own website.

This is not a easy task for someone who has little or no experience in this field. However, there are a lot of free website making software programs available that you can use to make your own website.

You can hire someone to create the website for you. But this could be a very costly exercise.

Lastly and still the easiest option. You can take advantage of the loads of mass produced, free, paid or subscription based websites available. Let's take a closer look at these options.

1. Free Websites

Thousands of these Free websites are available for you to choose from. Do a search "free website", you will find pages and pages of results. Unfortunately, this is their main disadvantage. To earn some income, you will have to compete with all of them.

Why are they free? you may ask. In most cases, you become one of hundreds of subscribers on the list of the website creator. You are then continually bombarded with products and services that promise some or other "secret" to overnight riches. Enough said.

2. Paid Websites.

These sites are normally of a better quality and are of a higher standard then their free counterparts.

The greater majority of these sites are one-page sites, which do offer some informative value to the visitor. The main disadvantage of this type of website is. There are just too many of them. Then there is the added opportunity to earn commission by selling these sites to other investors like you.

Let's have a closer look at this scenario. You have bought the site. Now you will have to compete with all the other identical sites to get some traffic (customers) to your site. To do this, you would need to make use of paid traffic which in itself could be very costly. But lets say you sell some of these websites. More competition! Get the picture.? It is easy to see that the only winner in this situation is the website creator.

3. Subscription Based Website

The subscription based website offers you multi-steams of income. The biggest disadvantage is that will have to be a paid subscriber to all the programs behind these many streams. This can be very costly monthly investment, which could take months to show any return on your investment.

The main disadvantage of these types of subscription websites, is that, in most cases, the site is a one-page site. With links leading to all the products or services you, as well as all the other subscriber's, are offering. But with no or very little real informative value to the visitor, barring the products on offer.

I am not saying that all subscription or paid sites are worthless. Don't get me wrong. There are some that do offer very good value for money. But what I am saying. For your own protection. Investigate as many as you can. Here are some crucial questions that need to be satisfied:

a. Are subscriptions limited? If so, great. you have less competition.

b. Can all aspects of the site be changed and modified. If this is indeed the case. You will be able to break away from duplicate content.

c. And lastly. Do you have the facility to add and remove products as you see fit.? This is very important as you need to be in the position to take advantage of best products out there. In so doing, you could almost guarantee your success.

In this article I have covered only a few of the factors that you need to keep in mind when opting for you own Website. It is my sincere hope that going forward. You will be better armed when considering these options. And, that you will then be in a more favorable position to Work at Home.
