I don't think that I can ever forget all the stories that my father used to tell about working on the farm from the time he was a young guy. Even though the stories may not be exactly accurate, the fact that he did try to help us appreciate the value of good work as teens is true. These days more and more teens avoid this concept in their lives.
It really does not have to be a hard task for teens to make money these days. There are plenty of simple and easy ways for them if they will really just put their minds to it. And as a parent or mentor, you can be a great influence in their deciding how to make money too.
A lot of businesses in the mall, and other places cater to the needs of students in high school or during the summers. One of the best things about it all is that it isn't that hard. A good starting point would be to make a list of their favorite stores or restaurants and drop off a resume to each of those places.
Just keep in mind that also you can encourage teens to make money but to also start out with good work ethics. Their first job can help them to learn great work ethics which should stick with them through out their whole lives. You can play a role in this by encouraging them.
But on the other side of the coin, there are alreay many different teens out there making a name for themselves with their own businesses. Whether it is online or out of their home, it is surprising how many teens are already starting spreading their fame with their businesses.
